What it includes
VERI*FACTU mode
Each invoice is sent to the AEAT when issued, with your electronic certificate. If a submission fails, it retries by itself.
Chained hash
Each record is chained to the previous one. “Verify chain” checks that none has been altered.
QR on the PDF
The customer checks the invoice on the AEAT website using the QR code.
For an official request
The XML for a period, the system events and the program’s declaration of compliance, ready to download.
Corrective invoices and cancellations
A registered invoice is neither edited nor deleted: it is cancelled with its own record or corrected with a corrective invoice.
Several branches with their Tax ID
Each Tax ID has its own chain of records.
View branchesFacturae for FACe
The invoice in Facturae format, to submit to public administrations.
TicketBAI
For companies with their tax residence in the Basque Country: signed and chained file, QR and TBAI identifier, and submission to the Provincial Council. In certification with the provincial tax authorities.
What TicketBAI isNo extra cost
VeriFactu, Facturae and SEPA batches are included in all plans.
Activate it once and it works by itself
Anti-fraud regulations require the invoicing program to record each invoice in a way that cannot be altered afterwards.
In Settings › VeriFactu you choose the mode, upload the company’s electronic certificate and move from testing to production. From then on, every invoice you issue generates its record and its QR, and in the VeriFactu list you see the status of each submission.
- Test environment to start without risk
- NO VERI*FACTU mode to keep the records without sending them
- Invoices from before activation are left untouched
- The same certificate works for VeriFactu and for TicketBAI
Questions about VeriFactu
What is VeriFactu?
It is the Tax Agency’s system for invoicing programs to record each invoice with a chained hash and a QR code, so that it cannot be altered after it has been issued (Royal Decree 1007/2023).
Since when is it mandatory?
The dates are set by the tax authorities and have already been postponed more than once: confirm them with your accountant. The program is already prepared, so you can activate it whenever you like.
Do I need an electronic certificate?
For VERI*FACTU mode in production, yes: the submission to the AEAT is made with it. In NO VERI*FACTU mode it is not needed: the records are kept in the application and exported if the AEAT asks for them.
And if my company is in the Basque Country?
There TicketBAI is used instead of VeriFactu, never both at once. We have it in certification with the provincial tax authorities: ask us for the date. We explain it in TicketBAI for pest control companies.
