Basements, warehouses and cold rooms: the work report gets done just the same with no signal
The day’s visits, the customer’s record and the documents are stored on the phone. The technician fills in, signs and clocks in offline, and everything is sent automatically once the signal returns, without duplicating anything.

See working timeThe same application, on the phone and in the office
Many visits take place where there is no signal: restaurant basements, industrial units and cold rooms. If the application needs a connection to save, the work report ends up on paper.
The technician installs it from the phone’s browser with “Add to home screen” and logs in with their user. In the morning, with a connection, the phone stores their day; during visits it works the same with or without signal, and what they do goes into a queue that sends itself. What the office changes reaches the phone and vice versa.
- No duplicates: each action is sent only once even if it is retried
- Warns you about anything that could not be sent so you can review it
- On logging out, everything stored is deleted from the phone
- Only the customers from the technician’s appointments are stored
Questions about the technician app
Do I need to install anything?
No need: it works in the phone’s browser. If you add it to the home screen it opens like any other app, full screen, and can work offline.
What happens if the battery runs out before syncing?
What has been done stays stored on the phone. When the application is opened again with a connection, it is sent.
And if the office changes the appointment while the technician has no signal?
On syncing, the phone receives the change. If anything the technician did cannot be saved, the application tells them so they can review it; nothing is lost or silently overwritten.
Does it work on iPhone and Android?
Yes, on both, using the phone’s browser.
How much does a technician who only uses the phone cost?
They have their own field technician licence, cheaper than a full user and outside the plan’s users: schedule, “My day”, documents, signatures, clock-in and chat. The price is on prices; more about licences in users and permissions.
Can someone else see the data if they pick up the phone?
When someone logs in as a different user, the previous user’s stored screens and unsent changes are deleted from the phone: you never see another person’s or another company’s data.
